Just yesterday, my boyfriend and I got ourselves some early Christmas gifts: an iPad2 and Apple TV! (And yes, I am typing this on my my new iPad and wireless keyboard… I feel like my “tech nerd” is coming out!). We’ve pretty much decided that with our new toys we have no need for cable anymore (hello Netflix!). I am more than happy about that! I do love my tv, but if you really think about it, we can still watch whatever we want but we don’t have to pay for the channels we don’t watch. And I can try and finish watching the best 100 movies of all time (according to my acting teacher: http://www.afi.com/100years/movies10.aspx) with all the great movies we have now!
I’ve learnt that in the entertainment world it’s important to stay connected and informed, and my new additions do just that. I also bought a very cute owl pillow from Pier 1 yesterday (named him Hooter, hehe) and he makes me smile… But the iPad makes me feel much more cool 
Now to test out some Christmas baking!

Take back the apple tv while you can and get a boxee box instead, does everything apple tv does and much much more, and in full hd instead of apple tvs 720p
